Our Story

AI Trained by Practitioners, Built for Your Firm

CaseScribe is an independent AI company, founded in 2023 to encode four decades of disability-law practice at Hill & Ponton into tools any firm can use.

From one firm's practice to every firm's tool

Hill & Ponton is a disability law firm founded in 1986. It has represented claimants in Social Security and personal-injury cases for nearly four decades, and it expanded into VA disability claims in 2011. Tens of thousands of cases later, the firm knew exactly where the work got stuck: document review.

A single C-file can run 5,000 pages — sometimes 20,000 on older claims. The tools on the market organized files but didn't think like attorneys. They didn't flag secondary conditions, surface nexus evidence, or build case strategy. They produced folders, not insight.

In 2023, Chad Hill — who grew up in the firm and returned in 2019 after two decades in tech — founded CaseScribe as a separate, independent AI company. The goal: encode Hill & Ponton's decades of case work into an AI that any firm could use. Hill & Ponton is CaseScribe's first customer. It is not its only one.

Your AI. Your Firm. No Conflicts.

CaseScribe is independent from Hill & Ponton and from any law practice. We don't practice law. We don't represent claimants. We build tools for the firms that do. Your data stays yours, your strategy stays yours, and our only interest is making your work more effective.

Chad Hill

Founder & CEO

Chad grew up in Hill & Ponton, the disability law firm his family founded in 1986. He spent two decades in tech — IT consulting, early internet companies, a fintech startup, and his own search marketing company — before returning to the firm in 2019 as CMO, then CTO. In 2023, he founded CaseScribe as a separate AI company to encode Hill & Ponton's decades of VA, SSA, and personal-injury case work into tools any firm could use.

Our Values

What We Stand For

Justice Through Technology

We believe AI should level the playing field, helping representatives find every opportunity their clients deserve.

Claimants First

Every feature we build starts with one question: will this help a representative get their client the benefits they've earned?

Trust Is Non-Negotiable

We handle sensitive client data with the same care we'd want for our own legal matters. SOC 2 Type II certified from day one.

What we're trying to do

“Help every representative help more people.”

Every feature, every line of code, every business decision starts and ends with this.
